What causes dropped calls

Lets talk about dropped calls. Everyone has had at least one run in with the pesky things, am I right? You know how it goes...you're on the phone having a deep important conversation about the meaning of life, and all of a sudden, the person on the other end is no longer there. But, have you ever wondered what actually causes dropped calls? Dropped calls can be caused by a variety of things, but here are some factors: •The phone is too far away from the cell tower •There are natural or man made obstructions in the way •You are using your phone inside a car or a buildling •Inclement weather •You are in a dreaded "Dead Zone" You may get that little beeping noise letting you know your call was dropped, the "Call Failed" message, or you may get no notification at all. Whatever the outcome, it's hard to deny that those dropped calls get old quickly! Thank goodness for Wilson boosters like the Wilson Sleek, or the Wilson dB Pro that prevent dropped calls, limited range and slow data rates for cell phones and data cards. New Wilson Amplifier now available AG Pro Installer

The new AG Pro Installer (801285) is now available. This is a dual band indoor booster designed for professional installation in large buildings. The adjustable gain controls on this booster allow the installer to set separately the uplink gain and downlink gain on both the 800 MHz and the 1900 MHz spectrum bands. This feature allows optimization of the booster's gain to match the requirements of the building in which it is installed.

With gain up to 75 dB, the AG Pro Installer can provide coverage for larger buildings suffering from weak, unreliable signal. This device supports multiple simultaneous connections, and includes Wilson's very fast oscillation sensing technology and auto-shutdown, as well as cell tower proximity detection and auto-shutdown, in addition to other cell site protection safeguards.

Wilson Sleek Cell Phone Booster Cradle

Wilson Electronics has an inexpensive amplified cradle for vehicle use. The Sleek is great for a daily driver that struggles with voice and data service. It will boost signal on the 850MHz and the 1900MHz frequencies, which Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint have their voice and 3G data on in most areas.

The user must place their cell phone in the Sleek mobile cell signal booster to receive the boosted signal. This is a perfect option for hands free driving when paired with a blue tooth head set. The Sleek cellular amplifier is an antenna and amplifier in one. Very compact, it is a plug and play type unit. It also has several mounting options available. Also watch for a 4G version of the sleek coming soon. Check out all the Sleek Cradle options at www.wilsoncellular.us or call us with any questions at 877-467-4241.

New Inline amplifier now available from Wilson Electronics

New from Wilson Electronics the Inline Booster (806215) has just become available. This model would typically be used by professional installers in larger buildings to provide an additional 17dB gain to compensate for signal loss due to a long cable run or use of taps or splitters to accommodate multiple antennas. The Inline Booster is installed between a Wilson indoor signal booster unit, like the AG Pro and that booster's inside antenna. Optimally the Inline Booster is installed after long runs of cable and/or taps and splitters to compensate for signal loss. The Inline Booster can be installed in the middle of a cable run or near the inside antenna, as needed. For more information call wilsoncellular.us at 877-467-4241
